What is

Greenpoint Open Studios?

Greenpoint Open Studios is a grassroots effort that aims to provide a free and open platform for local arts that builds, sustains, and supports the thriving creative community in Greenpoint, Brooklyn.

For one weekend, hundreds of artists and designers open up their studios to the public to showcase work in a wide range of mediums. From paintings, sculptures, film, photography, weaving/textiles, ceramics, and more, there are seasoned artists to be visited and emerging artists to be discovered in the northernmost tip of Brooklyn.

WE NEED YOUR HELP

GOS is a volunteer-run effort to support the local arts and keep the creative ethos alive. We cannot keep going without the generous support of the community.

How you can help

VOLUNTEER: If you are able to volunteer your time (flyer-ing, poster distribution, data checking, social media sharing, write, etc.) please sign up here!

DONATE: If you are able to donate funds to help offset costs, please make a donation here.

The future of GOS

In order to support the enormous growth of Greenpoint Open Studios and strengthen the local arts economy that provides opportunity to artists, we are looking to raise enough funds to have programming for artists throughout the year and hire a full-time staff member. In order to reach our goal, we are working on establishing an official 501c 3 with the mission of supporting the arts in North Brooklyn. Until we reach our goal, we need all the help we can get. Thank you!
